HM-930 ultraviolet spectrophotometer is a special ultraviolet spectrophotometer used to measure oil in water. The instrument is an efficient, environmentally friendly, accurate and fast oil measuring instrument developed according to the requirements of national environmental monitoring technical specifications. The product is simple to operate, has good precision, high sensitivity and stable performance, and can meet the application requirements of customers.
The instrument should be widely applied to environmental monitoring stations at all levels of the environmental Protection Bureau, water conservancy and hydrological monitoring stations, Marine environmental monitoring, water supply companies, agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery water quality testing, third-party environmental testing companies and many other fields.
It is suitable for the determination of oil in surface water, groundwater and seawater. Water samples were extracted with n-hexane at PH≤2 to determine oil. The extraction liquid was dehydrated with anhydrous sodium sulfate and then adsorbed by magnesium silicate to remove polar substances such as animal and plant oils. The absorbance was determined at 225nm wavelength. The oil content and absorbance values were in accordance with Lambert-Beer law.

Do not let any solvent, grease, corrosive substances touch the instrument.
After working for a long time, the following parts may fail or fail. Please go to the designated repair point for maintenance or ask the user to repair under the guidance of professional personnel.
1.1 Filter
After a period of use, the transmittance of the filter will decrease. When the instrument can not work normally, the instrument will automatically give a display to remind the user to replace it in time. The replacement method is as follows: open the upper cover of the instrument, find the filter disc, find the failed filter, take out the old film that has failed, and replace it with a new film of the same specification.
1.2 Light Source
When the light source lamp is damaged, the instrument will automatically give the display, then you can open the cover of the instrument, after inspection to determine the lamp is damaged, unplug the lamp socket, gently remove the lamp from the bottom up with the hand, replace the new lamp of the same specification. If the instrument still indicates fault after replacing the new bulb, please inform the professional staff of the division to debug in time.
